Civil engineering is abroad field that plays a vital role in the development of a nations’s infrastructure and economy. The department of civil engineering was established in the year 2011 with an intake of 60 students which offers under graduate program B.E. in Civil Engineering and affiliated to the Anna University – Chennai. The department has well qualified and experienced faculty members with various specialization in Civil Engineering. The department encourages the faculty to attend National and International workshops to enrich their knowledge and impart to the student community. The department is well equipped with modern equipment’s in the laboratory. The students are exposed to innovative ideas and latest technologies through special invited guest lecturers by leading professionals from various leading institutions, universities and industries. The students of the department are encouraged to actively participate in curricular, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities.
